Events at the Adler Planetarium

“Our love is written in the stars” and “I love you to the moon and back” are just some of the romantic sentiments that pair perfectly with weddings at the Adler Planetarium. One of my favorite Chicago venues, the Adler offers a truly celestial experience for your special day. This historic building, constructed in the late 1920s, is steeped in history and provides a stunning backdrop for any celebration. Adding your wedding or event to this iconic location ensures a memorable and magical experience.

A Space to Say “I Do”

The Adler Planetarium is an exceptional choice for wedding ceremonies and celebrations. I’ve had the honor of designing ceremonies both in the Sky Theater, with its awe-inspiring dome, and outdoors in front of the museum, which showcases breathtaking views of Lake Michigan. Each space offers its own unique charm and versatility for creating unforgettable moments.

Unparalleled Views

The Adler’s event spaces feature floor-to-ceiling windows facing north, offering unparalleled views of Chicago’s iconic skyline. On select nights throughout the year, guests can even enjoy a spectacular fireworks display from Navy Pier, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the evening. These views provide the perfect setting for creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A Personalized Touch

I’m a huge fan of incorporating personalized entry decor, and what better way to make a statement than by branding the Adler’s iconic dome with a couple’s custom logo? This striking feature sets the tone for a one-of-a-kind event and adds a touch of personalization that guests will never forget.

Let’s Plan Your Celestial Celebration

From the timeless architecture to the breathtaking views, the Adler Planetarium offers a truly unique venue for weddings and events. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, I’ll work closely with you to design a day that reflects your vision and exceeds your expectations. Let’s make your event an unforgettable journey through the stars!
